For one, I think it was the ultimate triumph of good over evil. The created destroyed the destroyer. I believe that over the years, he and his mother and adopted father forgave Pemberton and wanted revenge not only for the death of the old woman and the sherrif who helped to save them, but for Pemberton's killing as well. After all, he died to save them.

First, do think Rachel really saw Vaughn in Seattle? I've convinced myself that he faked his death to escape Galloway and Serena. I want Vaughn to be the husband Rachel mentions in the coda.

I think Jacob had to kill Serena and Galloway for my own sanity!! Rash could not leave them unpunished for what they did, and who better to get rid of them than the innocent child in the center of the whole mess.

As I said in the last post, Rachel was Serena's equal. She was just as strong. I think she made sure Jacob the whole story of how they were targeted and made sure he knew that he would be expected to avenger her father, the widow and McDowell. I have to say I was happy to see her and Galloway dead. I never thought I would say that but I did feel that way.
