You know what, I LOVED it. I am actually looking forward to reading the second book. My favourite part when was they were all up in the tower with Mr Curtain and they were trying to overpower the Whisperer.
I love it too!!! This is definitely one of my favorite kids' books of all time. My favorite parts are the beginning, where you're trying to figure out what's going on and are meeting the characters, and the climax scene in the tower room.
I really loved it. Especially the end. Milligan being Kate's dad and Miss. Perumal adopting Reynie. I totally teared up. I'm such a sap.
